Here are the books I’m reading in September! Some I’ve already finished (look for reviews soon on The Two-Family House and Lu.!), some I may abandon after a few (or fifty) pages, and thankfully some will be quick reads. I’m reading and enjoying three of these right now – Side by Side: Walking with Others in Wisdom and Love, American War: A novel
, and Smarter Faster Better: The Transformative Power of Real Productivity
. And if you didn’t notice, there are a lot of library books in my piles – my library is the best! They’ve bought every book I’ve requested (I’m telling myself it has to be because I have good taste in books) and they have no checkout limit, which is good for my family. Since school is back in session we only have 50 checked out right now.

The Fireman looks interesting – I’ve only read a couple King books because of the time commitment they require (and because I don’t want clown nightmares). And at 768 pages, looks like Hill is as wordy as his dad!

I really loved The Two Family House. I’ve been wanting to read Reading with Patrick too. Smarter Faster Better sounds good too!

I really enjoyed The Two Family House too! I got through almost all of Reading with Patrick, but had to return to the library with the last 50 or so pages unread. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s worth getting on the holds list again to see what happens to Patrick in the end. 🙂
